Stash Box Barbie

Meet Stash Box Barbie. Living in a stash box opposed to a dream house, there is only enough room for her bud and clothing.

She is the only Barbie who thinks outside of the box and always enjoys cannabis before playing dress-up! Follow her adventure just like her permanent smoke cloud.

Jodie's New Purse

Every week on Cannabis Culture, Jodie will post a video update of Marc’s current prison situation. Marc Emery is serving 5 years in American prison for only selling marijuana seeds and putting the majority of profits back into ending prohibition. Considering greed and racism caused others to become criminals in the government’s eyes, Marc’s pro-pot activism landed him in a really upsetting situation.

Marc mailed a purse to Jodie that the inmates made entirely of folded chip bags and other trash. Now that’s weed and fashion.

Many of the inmates enjoy being creative and are artists. Over the past few months Jodie has received plenty of personalized gifts, which keep getting more incredible. I cannot wait to see what else they create!

Pot Culture: Andre 3000

Greetings Earthlings...

Andre 3000's style is out of this world. Are you alien? Dare to be different with polka dots and dope. Mix as many colours and patterns as you like, cause stellar guys like Andre only dig down to Mars girls.

Elle Magazine's Bad Acid Trip

Elle Canada featured a fashion editorial called, “Fluo Punch: Happy-go-lucky brights that you on an acid trip!”

That’s a very bold statement referencing drug culture when the result of the photos reminds me nothing of an acid trip. Why would an editor approve this message when the reference falls flat, is the fashion industry slowly integrating the influence of psychedelics?

Simply, fashion is experimenting with different patterns, colours, textures, and shapes to create optical illusions. Before this trend starts to crash, I’d like to experiment with my take on acid fashion.
